Pre-school Program at Milliken Technical Center

We are accepting toddlers for our pre-school program at our Oakdale location. The pre-school is run by Mrs. Kelley Rogers, a veteran teacher. The design is to teach high school students how to be effective and caring pre-school teachers.

Hours: Our program runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for two hours in the morning and then another two hours in the afternoon. Parents may register their toddler (ages 2 1/2 to 4 years old) for the am or pm session. Toddlers learn social skills and an age-appropriate pre-school curriculum.

High school students are paired with toddlers, as they demonstrate proper child care techniques and work towards their certification.  During this time, the high school students are supervised by their teacher, and a teaching assistant. We welcome parents from the community who would like to register their toddlers for this activity-based educational program. There is a small registration fee. Please note that we are not a licensed New York State child care center.
