Uniforms, Materials, and Supplies
Back to school shopping looks a little different in CTE. While standard school supplies (notebooks, folders, etc.) are necessary, students will also be required to purchase trade specific items that will become their essential tools both in and outside of the classroom. We encourage students to take time over the summer to plan for and save money to purchase these items. Students are not required to purchase their trade specific tools or uniforms prior to the first week of school. I encourage students to first listen to their teachers to gain valuable insight on where and what to purchase.
Student Driving Pass Information
High school students are not permitted to drive to our campus until they have applied for and received an approved pass from our center. Applications will be handed out during the first week of school after administration presents requirements to the students. All of our participating districts provide transportation to our center. That is the agreement and expectation for the mode of transportation for arrival and dismissal. Students being dropped off or picked up will need to be signed in and out through our front entrance. Identification matching names listed on the student's emergency contact form is required for their release. Driving pass applications will only be handed out to seniors with a Class D license who are able to provide written proof from an employer stating their work days and hours. Under no circumstances will students with a junior license be permitted to drive at any time regardless of classman status or employment.
