BTC POWER TEAM HIGHLIGHTED WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH, GENDER EQUALITY, AND TRANSGENDER VISIBILITY DAY

Ms. Robrect, Animal Science Teacher Assistant and the BTC Power Team highlighted Women's History Month, Gender Equality Month and Transgender Visibility Day this past March to celebrate the DASA/SEL theme of Resilience.  Students, Samantha Bruno, Kayleen D'Amicco, Cassandra Dobler, Rozlin Genc, Ryann Griffin, Joylyn Jun, Juliana Lucivero, and Crystal Rye, and advisors Cheryl Bittner, Social Worker, Kelly Robrecht, Animal Science Teacher Assistant, and Brandy Zeidler, Guidance Senior Office Assistant, displayed a cart (filled with items that represent/support of diversity and inclusivity) in the hallways at dismissal the last week of the month to show support for Gender Equality Month and Transgender Visibility Day, March 31.  The purple ribbons and stickers are representative of support for Gender Equality and the pink, white and blue flags, ribbons and stickers showcase the colors of the transgender flag.  Depicted in the images shown below, student leaders of the BTC Power Team distributed materials to the student body for free to show our buildings efforts for inclusivity.
