BTC SKILLSUSA HUMANITARIAN DRIVE FOR UKRAINE REFUGEES

Uchechi Chukwuemeka, a student in Mr. Koral's Computer Tech and Repair class and one of our SkillsUSA Executive Board Members, proposed the idea of hosting a Humanitarian Drive for Ukraine Refugees at a BTC SkillsUSA meeting.  Everyone voted unanimously to run and promote this effort.  The BTC Power Team jumped on board and both groups are working hard to make this Humanitarian Drive a success.  Ms. Laura Donohue, Animal Science teacher, has volunteered to transport the collected items to the church in Riverhead who will handle the shipment of the donations.  The Academy at BTC would like to thank all of those who have donated and participated in this very worthy cause.  Together, we truly can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
