Storyteller and Puppeteer Visits Early Childhood Education students at HB Ward Tech!
On Friday, December 1st, the Early Childhood Education students at Ward Tech were treated to a visit from storyteller and puppeteer, Heather Thorgerson. The students are working on a storytelling and puppetry unit. During this unit, students will develop their own puppet scripts and puppets that they will use to perform a puppet show for the preschool children.
Ms. Thorgersen entertained the students with different handmade puppets and showed them different techniques on how to use them to enhance the preschool classroom experience. The students were also offered opportunities to work on a puppet show that is being produced by Ms. Thorgerson!
