Cosmetology 1 and Culinary Classes Team Up Against Cancer

During the Month of October and November, Ms. Beckman’s cosmetology classes offered pink and blue hair extensions to students and staff at H.B. Ward to raise money for breast cancer. In addition, Chef Rickmer’s culinary classes sold pink ribbon sugar cookies for this cause as well. In total, they raised $300. All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Services Program of Suffolk County Peconic Bay Medical Center.
