Afternoon of Beauty
On November 29th and December 7th the Cosmetology students at Ward Technical Center hosted an “Afternoon of Beauty” event. Students had the opportunity to offer salon services to friends and family. Manicures, paraffin treatments, scalp treatments, blow-dry and curling iron styles were among the services offered. Guests donated non-perishable food items. Collections and money raised will be donated to Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach in Riverhead, New York. Students proudly demonstrated their skills while giving back to their local community!
