Anthony O'Connor - Longwood CSD

Anthony O’Connor is in his second year in the Vehicle Body Repair and Paint Program at Ward Technical Center. Anthony, who attends Longwood School District, has always known he wanted to work on cars and he finds the trade rewarding. He was impressed that he was able to put what he was learning to use so quickly with an internship in his first year in the program. Anthony currently works at Good Shepard Auto Body Inc. in Coram, where he interned, and plans on working there full time after graduation. Ultimately, Anthony aspires to start his own paintless dent repair business. Anthony said, “To have all of this experience before graduating high school is so valuable and it has helped me figure out what I wanted to do with my future.”
