BTC's Animal Science Program Creates Bird Toys!

The purpose of the activity was to reinforce the importance of mental stimulation and fostering curiosity for pet birds. Students used various bird-safe products such as wooden chews, straw finger traps, shredded paper or coconut fiber string to construct individualized, mentally stimulating and visually appealing toy for either our class birds or their pets at home!
