Academy students at BTC in the new Physical Therapy (PT) Aide program have been advancing in their knowledge inside and outside their classrooms. Northwell Health Administrator and Physical Therapist Jim Megna recently spoke to the students; Students visited North Shore Orthotics-Prosthetics in Port Jefferson Station where they learned about ways to help their patients; and Director of the PT Assistant program at SCCC, Keith Perrucci, visited to discuss transitioning to the college’s PT Assistant program, and brought scholarship info along with many resources for the students. #PhysicalTherapistEducation.
